Driven by the national infrastructure policy and the demand for equipment upgrading, the sales volume of excavators this year has ushered in a big explosion. According to the statistical data of mining machinery branch of China construction machinery industry association, the 25 host manufacturing enterprises included in the statistics of the branch from January to August, 2018, sold 142,834 units in total, with a year-on-year increase of 56.2%. Among them, 11,588 units of various types of machinery were sold in August, with a year-on-year increase of 33.0%. The market sales volume presents the obvious growth tendency.

Analysis of excavator market:

In 2017, the renewal demand was 61,891 units. It is expected that the renewal demand will rise to 81,536 units in 2018, 102,310 units in 2019 and 145,532 units in 2020. In the future, the proportion of renewal demand is expected to increase significantly. According to preliminary estimation, the proportion of renewal demand for excavators is expected to reach 45% to 48% in 2018 and 50% in 2019.
